B BidWright
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 June 2026
BidWright is a bid-drafting tool for commercial cleaning contractors. We are built to keep your data minimal and in your control: your work product is stored in your own browser, and the documents you process are used only to generate your results — never to train AI models.
Who we are
BidWright ("we", "us") is operated by [legal entity]. For privacy questions, contact [contact email].
What we collect
- Email address — only if you sign up for early access or contact us. Used to reply to you and tell you about the product.
- Content you submit for processing — the RFP text, company profile, and past-proposal text you analyze or draft. This is sent to our AI backend to produce your compliance checklist and drafts. We do not require an account and do not store this content on our servers as part of an account.
- Your work product — your company profile, saved bids, and answer library are stored locally in your browser (localStorage). They are not uploaded to a BidWright account database. Clearing your browser data deletes them; you can export them from Settings at any time.
- Basic technical/operational logs — our servers log request events (e.g. that an analysis or draft ran, timing, errors) to operate and debug the service. We aim to keep these free of full document content.
How your documents are processed
When you click Analyze or Draft, the relevant text is transmitted over an encrypted connection to a third-party large-language-model (LLM) provider that BidWright uses as its AI backend, solely to generate your result. As configured today, our backend provider does not train its models on data submitted through the API. We process this content only to provide the feature you requested and do not sell it.
Third parties we use
- AI/LLM backend provider — to generate checklists and drafts (no model training on your submissions).
- Hosting/CDN — to serve the application and libraries.
- Email provider — if you sign up, to receive and respond to your message.
We update this list as our infrastructure changes; the current backend is documented internally and chosen for its no-training, privacy-respecting terms.
Confidentiality of your bids
RFPs and proposals can be commercially sensitive. We treat the content you submit as confidential, transmit it securely, use it only to produce your output, and do not publish or share it. During concierge/early-access engagements we keep any documents you send us private and delete them on request.
Your choices and rights
- Access/export — export all your local data as JSON from Settings.
- Deletion — erase all local data from Settings, or email us to delete any signup/contact data we hold.
- Opt out — unsubscribe from any email we send.
Security
We use encryption in transit and limit what we store. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we design to minimize the data at risk — most of your data never leaves your device.
Children
BidWright is a business tool not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll change the date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
